VBFF Symposium on Extreme Quantum Materials
November 9, 2023
Scope and Objectives:
This Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellowship (VBFF) launch symposium featured research that pertains to materials physics, with an emphasis on strongly correlated quantum materials. It showcased recent exciting developments on this broad subject and, equally important, highlighted opportunities for future research and for building a strong community of interactions and collaborations in this general area.
There were a set of stimulating research talks presented from a variety of perspectives and in an informal and interactive atmosphere. The audience was comprised of graduate students, postdocs and more senior researchers.
Venue: Moody Center, Rice University, 2nd Floor
